What a Monday....

Ok, to preface this, Bennett began running fever Saturday evening, followed by McKinley joining him Sunday, with both running a low grade fever all day Sunday. I figure it is them cutting their eye teeth because they are drooling like crazy and clingy as hell. Well, after it didn't break today, I decide to take them in to the doctor just to be sure it wasn't their ears. After a night of up and down up and down with the babies, I got up too late to call in for a sub, so I get everyone dressed, take the babies to the sitter, get Berkeley to school, and get to my school to try and get a sub to come in and relieve me at some point that morning. Luckily, I didn't have to wait too long. Our full-time sub was able to fill in for me and I was able to leave first thing. So, I run home, to try and get an appointment for them before I go and pick them up (the sitter lives just around the corner from me). I got an appointment for 10:20, so I went on and picked up the babies and came back to the house to finish getting ready. As I was getting ready, Bennett and Mckinley were playing in the living room, and McKinley starts bawling. She has slipped and apparently hit the edge of the fireplace, busting her lip (it looks like she bit it) and scratching her chin. So...I get that all taken care of and her settled down, the kids loaded up in the car, along with everthing else and head to the doctor. Thank goodness I did not have to wait long, because they were very fussy and I was going solo. The doctor came in and we go through the whole questioning part, and he begins to examine McKinley only to find that not only did she hurt her lip, she chipped both of her front teeth. GREAT!! It's not that bad...I didn't even notice when I checked her out, but still....anyway, we got a clean bill of health and they did our 18 month well baby check up while we were there and did shots...they did great. Needless to say, this has been a very long exhausting day for me... Is it bed time yet?
Stats:
Bennett: 31.5 inches long (27%), 22.6lbs(9%)
McKinley: 30 inches long (10%), 23.4lbs (34%)
