Boots and Circles

So, about a month ago, we found the cutest pink UGG type boots for McKinley at Target. So, of course with winter on the brink, we bought them for her. They had NOTHING for boys...

Well, we found some cool "boy" boots made by John Deere, but could only get them in Springdale. So, we told him that we going to get him some boots and all he would say was "circle". To which we were like, "huh"???? And he kept saying it over and over and over.....even McKinley knew what he was talking about....but we didnt! So....we are on our way down the interstate, and pass Target, to which Bennett FREAKS out and starts yelling CIRCLE! CIRCLE!

It then hits us....CIRCLE=Target!!!

Bennett thought that we were going to Target to get his boots! AH HA!!! So we had to defer the meltdown and explain that his boots were at another store......

We were totally amazed at the fact that they put those things together....I just goes to show the connections they make every day that we don't even realize. These kids are so impressionable it this age. And much smarter (in their toddler world) than we probably give them credit for...

I am always amazed at the things they know or the things they same or the things they do....they are totally amazing at this age.....

Pumpkin Patch and Halloween

We finally got a sunny day to visit the pumpkin patch. The kids had a great time running and playing and picking out their pumpkins. It is very hard to get these children to cooperate all at the same time when trying to get some good pictures, so enjoy....some are pretty funny!

The twins had a Halloween party at school, and since their shirts were not finished yet, I found these cut shirts for them to wear instead.....they were on a sugar high by Friday afternoon when I picked them up, and I do not think they have come down from it yet....LOL!

And, finally, Halloween pictures.....We went to Bill's boss's house, and pulled a trailer of hay behind the 4-wheeler and trick-or-treated his neighborhood redneck style...I think we had 3 or 4 4-wheelers running the streets. It was a sight, for sure. Berkeley, of course, was not very interested in my trying to take pictures...her main objective...get as much candy as possible. period. Bennett and McKinley, on the other hand started off the night trying to decide whether riding the 4-wheeler or trick-or-treating was more fun. Eventually, they figured it out, and really got into gathering their stock pile of candy. They all had a blast. Bill cooked chilli, so after our routes were complete, we made our way back to the house for some yummy deer chilli. YUMMMM......
