Well, Christmas has come and gone yet another year. We began our celebrations with the twins' pre-school Christmas party. I know, now, without I doubt, that middle school is definitely my area, because all those 3 and 4 year olds were making me just a little bit crazy. Berkeley even tagged along and helped make jingle bell necklaces with the kiddos. They, then, had snacks and opened presents before one last craft....making reindeer food to put out to attrach the reindeeer to our house.

We attended the 4pm Christmas Eve church service at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church in Bella Vista. I guess one of our early New Year's Resolutions is to get back into going to church on a regular basis and getting the kids more involved in church activities. Afterwards, we joined up with some friends for a Christmas Eve dinner, complete with a fried turkey, dressing and more casseroles than we could possibly eat all in one sitting. And it was all FABULOUS! Santa even made a surprise appearance!
We got home around 10pm, and put everyone to bed so Santa could come. Let me just say, that reindeer food must be some good stuff, because Santa was here in no time, and getting final assemblies done to all the toys.
Everyone was up and moving a little after 8am Christmas morning, and we are so thankful for everything we received. The kids are, of course, loving all their new toys, and I am quite ready for my house to go back to working order....Either my house is shrinking, or the stuff in it is multiplying....because I am feeling a little bit like we are busting at the seams with all the Christmas ddecorations and finding places for everything....including the presents...:)
